20 week course, two nights per week 5:00pm to 8:30pm

You need to apply by March 19th
Grant funds are available to provide FREE trade education. GED or High School diploma preferred but not required. This is like having a scholarship to learn a trade. There are participation qualifications that must be met. Contact CEFA to see if you qualify.

Applications are taken Monday thur Thursday 8:15am to 10:30am or 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Friday 8:15am to 10:30am only.

State issued picture ID, Driver's license
Social Security Card
** If you were laid off from your last job, bring a letter from employer stating lay off.

If your application is approved you will need the following documents to move to the next step. Having these documents are not require for application, but they will be required to be approved.
Proof of residency: lease, utility bill in your name. If you live with family or friends you need a letter stating that fact (click here for sample letter). This can be hand written on any paper.
Proof of past income: W-2, pay check stubs, tax return
Public Assistance: Bring Award Letter if you receive

Education Documentation: "Preferred not required". High School Diploma, GED or college transcript
CEFA is owned by the commercial construction industry and provides NCCER certified training and places all graduates in a database that is shared with the commercial construction industry on a quarterly basis. No job is guaranteed, but contractors are notified that students are trained and available for hire.
